The Weather Is A Changing.

Today I just wanted to share a photo I took yesterday afternoon when the weather here turned very cold and miserable and my antics from last night.

It's amazing just how much lighting our fire makes a difference to a miserable afternoon. And then it becomes perfect time to do some crafting, or in my case refill my in cartridges for my printer. I have never done this before, and let's say I shall never do this again. I completed the magenta and cyan ones with no trouble and little mess, but when it comes to the yellow... Arrgggh I still have the war marks from my efforts last night, an leaking ink cartridge is no fun at all.

Soccer Star

This winter we have some busy and cold mornings ahead of us, as Sarah is playing soccer this season. This year Sarah has joined the Glenorchy Knights Football Club. And like a typical mother, I am super proud and came armed to her first game with a camera to take those ever important first game photos. I really look forward to scrapping a layout about our new raising soccer star.

Ready to kick that goal.

Needing to Make

Tonight I just wanted quickly to share a photo of my two new purchases from this weekend.

I am itching to make these hopefully this weekend. So once Sarah's first soccer match for the season is over (of course I shall be armed with a camera at this event!), general house maintenance is done (tap in the bathroom is replaced, lawns mowed, latices work on the back fence is repaired, and any other odd job that appears), and when the kids are settled with their friends (both Zac and Sarah have friends staying this weekend.....CRAZY!) that are sleeping over, I shall hide myself away in my scrap room and hopefully create. :)

Yep it's Easter once more in the Cornish house, we have bags of choccie Easter eggs sitting in the kitchen. And 1 hyper 8 year old, that has to have her Easter eggs rationed! So I am going to share some photos.
I hope you all had a wonder Easter and you celebrated with love.

A Very Very Sad Day

Last months our family lost a very important member of our family. Long time companion Cooper, our 13 year old barky mutt. It was a truly sad day, seeing our old fella die, and we had a day of mourning for the poor boy. He will be sadly missed by us and his best mate Bernie :(
It's strange pulling up in the drive way and not having Cooper bark at us, and I swear in the morning when I go to say good morning to Bernie, I hear Cooper let out a bark!
We shall miss our old fella, and always have the memories of him close to our heart! See ya, you barky old dog ;)
